HOW WILL I KNOW IF MY BIRTH CERTIFICATE IS PROPERLY REGISTERED?

CitizenServices says:

Dear Bright Baby,

The filing of your birth certificate was initially done by either Mommy or Daddy after your birth. Of course this was handled by other people, like nurses in the hospital or the midwife for filing. There is a small possibility that a spelling or date error might be present in your record or that your record was not filed properly at all.

In order to check this, you can make a request of a copy of your birth certificate from the Local Civil Registrar (LCR) of the city that you were born in. You can do this around after a month or more from the time of your birth. If six or more months had passed, you may request your birth certificate directly from the NSO. Once you get a copy, you can verify from there if all the information is properly recorded and if you do have a copy of your birth certificate registered in the LCR and NSO.
